The plugs have a thermoplasticshell and pins made of silver-plated copper alloy. Withergonomic designs, the plugs are comfortable to holdand easy to plug and unplug. A. How to start charging1. Firmly insert the Type 2 male plug into the outletsocket on the AC EVSE.
2. insert the Type 2 female plug into the inletsocket on the electric vehicle.
3. Lock your electric vehicle and the AC EVSE willcharge the vehicle.
B. Howto stop charging
1. Unplug the Type 2 male plug from the EVSE outletto disconnect power.
2. Disconnect the Type 2 female plug from the vehicleinlet.
3. Put the EV charging cable away.

* This is a Mode 3 EV charging cable special for EVswith a Type 2 inlet and the EVSE has a Type 2 outlet.Don't use it for EVs with different inlet types orEVSEs with different outlet types.

CommonProblems
* Pins not latching- Make sure to use considerableforce when plugging in the cable until the pins arewell connected to the EVSE or the electricvehicle.
* Charging settings on the electric vehicle – Makesure no timers or other settings are turnedon.
* The vehicle is locked – The vehicle needs to beunlocked and powered off to start the chargingprocess.
* Plugging into another cable – This cable must beplugged directly into a Type 2 EV inlet socket and aType 2 EVSE outlet socket.
